Hong Kong court convicts British woman of blackmailing banker over false rape claim
A British woman, Isabel Anonia Barbra Eudora Rose, 25, has been convicted by a Hong Kong District Court of blackmailing a British banker for £100,000 after falsely accusing him of rape. Rose met the man during a trip to Thailand and threatened to report him to Hong Kong police unless he paid her. She was also convicted of making a false police report regarding the alleged rape.
