First Syrian Asylum Seekers to be Sent Back Home in May

The Swiss State Secretariat for Migration has determined that the situation in Syria is no longer one of general violence everywhere, allowing for asylum decisions to be made again. As a result, the first Syrian asylum seekers will be sent back home starting in May, although most are expected to remain in the country for a longer period.
