The mayor of the 10th arrondissement in Paris was reportedly assaulted by far-right militants who attempted to prevent the opening of the Saint-Laurent church to the public during the Nuit Blanche event, which featured an artwork focused on love. The city of Paris has condemned the incident, attributing it to extremist right-wing individuals.
«Des militants intégristes d’extrême droite ont cherché à empêcher l’ouverture au public de l’église Saint-Laurent dans le 10e arrondissement de Paris, afin d’empêcher la tenue d’une des œuvres de cette édition de Nuit Blanche consacrée à l’amour», a indiqué la ville.
