Six dead as river crossings claim lives in KZN village

A village in KwaZulu-Natal's uThukela district has been cut off and left without adequate infrastructure following deadly river crossings, according to Mail & Guardian. The Indaka River has claimed six lives as residents, including schoolchildren, are forced to cross the crocodile-infested waters daily due to the absence of a bridge, despite local officials' unfulfilled promises to build one.
