Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, said on Thursday that his group stands with Iran in the ongoing regional conflict and is prepared to take action if developments require it. In a televised speech broadcast by Houthi-affiliated media, al-Houthi said the movement considered the confrontation involving Iran to be a broader struggle affecting the entire region. “Our hands are on the trigger at any moment the developments require it,” he said, warning that the group remains ready to intervene if the situation escalates further.
